Endowment Funds

Since 2002. the Inland Seas Education Association has maintained two distinct endowment funds, which are held and invested by the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation:

Schoolship Operating Fund - to provide spendable income to support educational programs aboard the schooner Inland Seas and other vessels under charter to ISEA
Scholarship Endowment Fund - to create spendable income that is used to pay the tuition for schools and individual students who are otherwise unable to participate in the Schoolship experience.
