Boat Donations and Sales

Put your old boat to work protecting the Great Lakes. IRS rules allow you to donate your boat to Inland Seas to help us pay the costs of our unique, hands-on educational programs and you can claim the sale price of your donation as a tax-deductible contribution. We’ll be happy to talk to you about the advantages of donating your boat.

Or if you don’t have a boat to donate, consider purchasing one of the many donated boats in our inventory. Either way, Inland Seas will put your contribution or purchase cost to work Protecting the Great Lakes Through Education.
